The Clue Editor
Clicking any cell on your Game Board opens the **Clue Editor**. This is your toolkit for crafting the perfect trivia moment.
1. The Basic Content
The actual question text displayed on the TV screens. Keep it concise for better readability.
The correct response. This is hidden from players until you choose to reveal it during the game. For Location answers, this field is display-only.
The point value shown on the grid.
2. Visuals & Audio
You can attach media to any clue. It will auto-play on the TV when the clue is revealed.
YouTube Video
Paste any YouTube link. Use the Start/End sliders to clip a specific segment (e.g. 0:45 to 0:55).
Audio Only
Perfect for "Name That Tune". The video is hidden, and an audio visualizer is shown on TV instead.
Image
Paste a direct URL to an image (ending in .jpg, .png). It is displayed full-screen.
Street View
Perfect for "GeoGuessr" style questions. Paste a Google Maps Street View URL to auto-extract the viewpoint, or enter coordinates manually. If you want Location scoring, set the target lat/lng in the Answer settings (or use "Sync from Street View").
3. Location Answers (GeoGuessr)
Use Location answers when players should drop a pin on a map. First submit is final.
Answer Type: Location
Players tap to drop a pin in the app. The Answer text is only for host/TV display.
Target Coordinates
Required for scoring. Set explicit target latitude and longitude, or sync from Street View.
Scale Scoring
Scale awards 0..Max based on distance. Fixed/Wager uses a correct radius instead.
4. Configuring Mechanics
Map Legend →Host-A-Quiz allows you to granularly configure who answers and how they answer.
